Europa
I want to start by mentioning that since the beginning of this project, two things have always been the same. The name was "Europan Life" and it was going to use Rob Dougan's "Clubbed to Death" (the greatest song ever) for the soundtrack. It was basically the eleventh hour when I shortened the name to "Europa" and changed the music to another Rob Dougan song, "Will you follow me?"
Here's a quick summary of the story: Europa, the ice covered moon of Jupiter is believed by many to have a liquid ocean beneath it's thick frozen crust. The mission of the Hermes landing craft is to deposit the automated submersible, Odysseus, below the moon's crust so that it may search for any signs of life. Later, while in persuit of a creature, Odysseus stumbles into Europa's food chain and is eventually perceived as a threat...

The rover "Clarke."

And the lander "Hermes," on the surface of Europa.

A deadly Europan Jellyfish.

"Odysseus" silhouetted against the leviathan.

Attack of the Tentacled Creature!
A brief word before the link to the full animation. I had to make a choice between Time and Quality, did I want it perfect or did I want it finally done? I choose to get it done NOW, thus corners had to be cut. I'm still happy with the result because it does tell the story I had set out to tell.
However, to avoid any copyright infringement, the version presented here is lacking the music track. But those with the Rob Dougan album "Furious Angels" can play track 3 (disc 1) about 4 seconds into the video, and you'll get the same effect.
