The patches are only for gtml 3.5.3.

To apply the patches, first unpack the archive for your system,
in side is a .diff file, to use it run:(with proper paths)

patch gtml gtml-3.5.3-lin.diff  -  for Linux
or
patch gtml gtml-3.5.3-cyg.diff  -  for Cygwin

If you're unfamiliar with patch, run:

man patch
or
patch --help
